Abstract:
The present application provides an MDT measurement method and device. The method applies to a terminal, and comprises: detecting entry into an uncovered area of a base station; performing MDT measurement on the uncovered area to obtain the MDT measurement information of the uncovered area; and sending the MDT measurement information of the uncovered area to the base station upon detecting the entry into a covered area of the base station, so as to enable the base station to determine the network state of the uncovered area according to the MDT measurement information of the uncovered area. Thus, the present application can implement MDT measurement on a uncovered area, thereby expanding the application range of MDT measurement and improving the practicality of MDT measurement.
