Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a meander determination device that is capable of determining meander with a high degree of accuracy. The present invention is a meander determination device (1) that detects the amount of offset from the center of a lane in which a vehicle is travelling and determines the meander of the vehicle on the basis of the amount of offset from the center of the lane. The device is characterized by having the following: a lane width detection unit (10) that detects the width of a lane in which a vehicle is travelling; a threshold setting unit (31) that sets a threshold value for meander determination in accordance with the lane width detected by the lane width detection unit (10); and a meander determination unit (32) that determines meander on the basis of the amount of offset from the center of the lane and the threshold value set by the threshold setting unit (31). The invention is provided with a threshold learning unit (34) that learns threshold values for meander determination on the basis of the detected amount of offset from the center of the lane when a driver is driving the vehicle in a normal state. It is preferable to have the threshold setting unit (31) use the threshold values learned by the threshold learning unit (34) to set the threshold value for meander determination in accordance with the lane width.
