Abstract:
Provided are a meandering control method that is for a hot-rolled steel strip and that can sufficiently suppress the amount the hot-rolled steel strip meanders, a meandering control device, and hot rolling equipment. A roll opening difference between an operation side and a drive side in an i-th rolling mill, the difference being calculated in a leveling control calculation step (step S3) in a meandering control method, fulfills the roll opening difference according to formula (1), formula (2), and formula (3) between the operation side and the drive side in the i-th rolling mill (Fi) in a control section j, where the control section j is a section in which a tail end (Sa) of a traveling hot-rolled steel strip (10) is between a j-th (j≤i-1) rolling mill (Fj) and a j+1st rolling mill (Fj+1), counting from a rolling mill (F1) installed furthest to the upstream side.
