Abstract:
A means for controlling back pressure in a scroll compressor according to the present invention relates to a means for controlling back pressure in a scroll compressor, which regulates back pressure applied to an orbiting scroll and a fixed scroll, and comprises: a valve member provided in a space through which a suction chamber communicates with a back pressure chamber to open and close the communicating space; an elastic member that elastically deforms in correspondence to pressure applied to the valve member; and an elastic member support member provided in a space communicating with a discharge chamber to move in correspondence to pressure in the discharge chamber, which varies according to the operating load of the scroll compressor, and have one side supported by the elastic member, wherein a set value is adjusted according to the movement of the elastic member support member, and the back pressure is regulated.
