Abstract:
This measurement assistance device (3) calculates a first coupling capacitance, which is produced between a cable conductor (4a) and a probe electrode (21) of a non-contact voltage observation device (2), on the basis of the voltage obtained by voltage-dividing a test voltage signal that has a known AC voltage waveform by the first coupling capacitance, a known capacitance, and a second coupling capacitance produced between the cable conductor (4a) and a probe electrode (31) of the measurement assistance device (3). The structure and size of the probe electrode (31) are matched to the probe electrode (21) such that the first coupling capacitance and second coupling capacitance are similar values within a certain margin of error.
