Abstract:

The present disclosure relates to a measurement configuration method, a device, a user equipment, and a base station. The measurement configuration method comprises: generating a measurement configuration signaling, the measurement configuration signaling carrying configuration information used for instructing a user equipment (UE) to report cell signal quality of a suitable cell; and transmitting the measurement configuration signaling. The technical solutions of the present disclosure solve the problem in which the UE only reports the cell signal quality of an unsuitable cell when reporting cell signal quality, resulting in difficulty for a base station to execute a cell handover or cell addition on the basis of a measurement report reported by the UE.
