Abstract:
[Problem] To accurately measure the state of a body fluid even when an object to be measured is thin. [Solution] A measurement device comprising: a light source that emits light having a predetermined wavelength; a polarizer that converts the light emitted from the light source into linearly polarized light; a modulator that modulates a polarization direction of the linearly polarized light; one or more mirrors that reflect the light modulated by the modulator inside an object to be measured; an analyzer that separates, on the basis of the polarization direction of transmitted light from the object to be measured, scattered light scattered inside the object to be measured from the transmitted light; and a detector that detects the transmitted light from which the scattered light has been separated by the analyzer.
