Abstract:
A measurement method for measuring a state of a device in which components are lubricated with a lubricant, the method comprising: applying an alternating voltage to an electric circuit including the components to be lubricated with the lubricant; measuring the impedance and phase angle of the electric circuit when the alternating voltage is applied; and deriving an oil film thickness and a metallic contact ratio between the components on the basis of the impedance and the phase angle, wherein the oil film thickness and the metallic contact ratio between the components are derived by using a formula that defines the capacitance of a contact area between the components, according to the probability density function of surface roughness between the components in the contact area.
