Abstract:
The present invention relates to a measurement method and a terminal apparatus. The measurement method comprises: a terminal apparatus receiving an indication to relax measurement performed on a frequency with higher priority; and if a signal of a serving cell meets a first requirement, the terminal apparatus relaxing measurement performed on a frequency with higher priority. The invention enables a terminal apparatus to appropriately relax measurement performed on a frequency with higher priority according to a network configuration, is easy to implement, and can meet the power saving requirement.
