Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a measurement device and a measurement method that operate from a novel standpoint in relation to killer T cells. [Solution] A measurement device that operates on blood outputs a measurement result in accordance with: a killer T cell measurement step for measuring a first proportion, which is the proportion of T cells that express CD8 factors and are killer T cells from among T cells expressing CD8 factors in the blood; and a PD1 killer cell detection step for measuring a second proportion, which is the proportion of killer T cells that express CD8 factors and also express PD1 factors from among the same T cells expressing CD8 factors in the blood.
