Title:
MEASURING CELL FOR A POWER COMPENSATION CALORIMETER AND DEVICE COMPRISING TWO SUCH CELLS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2005001458
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a measuring cell for a power compensation calorimeter and a device comprising two such cells. The inventive cell comprises a temperature sensor (28) and a heating element (36) which are disposed on a dielectric slab (20). According to the invention, the temperature sensor is disposed on the side of the divider which is intended to receive a product to be tested (S) or a reference material. In order to reduce the thermal inertia of the cell, the sensor and the heating element respectively comprise ink deposits which are applied directly to the dielectric slab (20), the thickness of each deposit measuring between approximately 5 micrometers and approximately 15 micrometers. The invention is suitable for a calorimeter with power compensation and differential temperature scanning.
