Abstract:

This measuring device: stores, in a memory, first attitude data relating to a working device at a first time point, in association with first shape data representing the contour shape of an empty container at the first time point; calculates second shape data representing the surface shape of the contents of the container, on the basis of second measured data measured by a distance detector at a second time point after the first time point; calculates difference information representing the difference between second attitude data, which are attitude data measured by an attitude detector at the second time point, and the first attitude data; rotates the second shape data within the three-dimensional coordinate space of the distance detector, on the basis of the difference information; identifies a region enclosed by the rotated second shape data and the first shape data; and calculates the volume of the contents of the container at the second time point on the basis of the identified region.
