Abstract:
A measuring device 100 is provided with: a measuring unit 10 which causes ultrasound waves to propagate through a medium 98 flowing through a pipe 99, and receives said ultrasound waves; a difference calculating unit 23a which calculates a difference signal obtained from the difference between the waveforms of received signals comprising at least two received ultrasound waves; and an identifying unit 23d which identifies a reception timing with respect to the transmission of the ultrasound waves on the basis of a target signal component included in the difference signal. By identifying the reception timing on the basis of the target signal component included in the difference signal, the flow rate of the medium 98 can be measured accurately using the reception timing.
