Abstract:
A measuring device measures the reactions of a plurality of specimens floating in a liquid. The measuring device includes a substrate and a vibration generating unit. The substrate is provided with a first cavity structured so as to store the liquid and a plurality of second cavities. The vibration generating unit generates a standing wave in the liquid stored in the first cavity. The substrate is also provided with a plurality of through-holes communicating between each of the second cavities and the first cavity. The through-holes open to the first cavity and have respective opening portions for capturing the specimens. The measuring device can measure the specimens with high efficiency.
