Abstract:

A plurality of signal-processing units corresponding to a plurality of operation modes are housed in a case (1), on the front (1a) of which are arranged a control panel (3), a display and a plurality of signal terminals (5a) located near the display and shared by the signal-processing units. A signal name memory stores the signal name (11) assigned to the signal at the signal terminal for each of the signal-processing units. A switch is operated to connect a signal terminal for a specified operation mode with a signal-processing unit for the specified operation mode. The signal name corresponding to the specified operation mode is read from the signal name memory and indicated near the associated signal terminal on the screen (4a) of the display.
