Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a measuring system, a measuring method, and a measuring program capable of implementing safe operation in industry by rapidly and reliably detecting the presence of an object (obstacle) to be measured. [Solution] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a measuring system configured to be capable of measuring the position of an object is provided with an image capturing device and an information processing device, wherein: the image capturing device is a camera having a frame rate at least equal to 100 fps, and is configured to be capable of imaging the object included in the angle of view of the camera, as an image; the information processing device is provided with a communication unit, an IPM transformation unit, and a position measuring unit; the communication unit is connected to the image capturing device, and is configured to be capable of receiving the image captured by the image capturing device; the IPM transformation unit is configured to set at least a portion of the image including the object as a prescribed region, and to perform an inverse perspective transformation of the image to generate an IPM image restricted to the prescribed region; here, the IPM image is an image in which a prescribed plane including the object is rendered as seen from overhead; and the position measuring unit is configured to be capable of measuring the position of the object on the basis of the IPM image.
