Abstract:
Provided is a measuring tool (10), comprising a laser level (11), a range finder (12), and a limiting device located on one of the laser level (11) and the range finder (12) and allowing combination of the laser level (11) and the range finder (12) thereof. When located on the laser level (11), the limiting device comprises raised strips (13) located at two side edges of the laser level (11), wherein a distance between the raised strips (13) is the same as a width of the range finder (12) in a radial direction thereof, such that the range finder (12) is engaged with the raised strips (13). A compact and portable measuring tool (10) with a small-scale laser level (11) and range finder (12) allowing the laser level (11) and the range finder (12) to be used independently so as to execute their respective functions, or to cooperate with each other to execute distance measurement when performing laser leveling, thereby achieving user convenience.
