Title:
MECHANICAL DEVELOPING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/060674
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The mechanical developing device is a combination of gearwheels sequenced in such a way as to allow any input power to experience an increase in force at output without a loss in velocity. The power entering the mechanical force developing device has to allow at least rotation under no load. The system is functional from one single set of mechanical force developing mechanisms (PLATE PCH5) upwards, provided that the power is input at (5E). One set comprises at least four gearwheels, two by two, with the two shafts bearing the gearwheels being parallel and supported by rolling bearings in a frame. Each gearwheel of one group is paired with the gearwheel of the other group. The two gearwheels in each group of a set of force developing mechanisms are circular and in a diamond shape. However, they may both be in a diamond shape. Nonetheless, there are other types of sets of force developing mechanisms. The toothset of each gearwheel of one group is the same as the toothset of the other gearwheel of the group with which it is respectively paired, although a fraction of the toothset of a circular gearwheel needs to be modified at the two opposing grades (PLATE PCH1). The direction of increase in force is applied from the modified circular gearwheels, the tooth form of some of the teeth of which is modified, toward the gearwheels in the shape of a diamond (PLATE PCH5, 12). Thus, it is from the field of application of the gearwheels in the shape of a diamond that the power is taken off from the gearwheels of circular shape, in order to develop the force. The addition of several sets of the force developing mechanism in series makes it possible to achieve the desired force and output shaft rated for the purpose (PLATE PCH7). For the mechanical force developing device to be secured in a stationary or mobile device, it needs to have fitted a system which will allow it to rotate continuously and will provide it with lubrication.
