A mechanical stretching device for multifunctional movable sofa belongs to a furniture component. The device includes a first leg (2), a second leg (3), a third leg (4), a fourth leg (5), a side panel (7), a first linkage (8), a second linkage (9), a third linkage (10), a fourth linkage (11), a fifth linkage (12), a sixth linkage (13), a first support (14), a second support (15), a joint (6), a hippocampal piece (17), a shaft transmission(19), a spring (26) and a bottom linkage (27). A first limit surface (31) and a second limit surface (32) are opened on the second leg (3). A third limit surface (51) is opened on the fourth leg (5), and a fourth limit surface (71) and a fifth limit surface (72) are opened on the side panel (7). A sixth limit surface (91) and a seventh limit surface (92) are opened on the second linkage (9), and an eighth limit surface (131) is opened on the sixth linkage (13). A ninth limit surface (141) is opened on the first support (14), and a tenth limit surface (161) is opened on the joint (6). Structure of the device are reasonably designed, and stretching and folding length are identical essentially. Loosing range of the backrest is about 3 mm, and sinking range of the product is about 2 mm.
