Abstract:
Provided is a mechanical throttle-controlled vehicle that is hybridized while maintaining traveling characteristics which are adapted to the operation thereof. The mechanical throttle-controlled vehicle comprises: a vehicle body; an advancing speed detection device; an accelerator operator; a mechanically-connected throttle valve which is mechanically connected to the accelerator operator via an operation transmission member; an engine having a crankshaft; a generator that has a rotor and a stator which are connected to the crankshaft, and that is driven by the engine to generate power; a generator control device that controls a load of the generator; a drive motor; and a driven member. The generator control device: controls the rotation speed of the crankshaft of the engine by changing the load of the generator on the basis of the opening degree of the throttle valve which is mechanically connected to the accelerator operator via the operation transmission member and the advancing speed of the vehicle body; and supplies power for driving the driven member to the drive motor without the interposition of a power storage device.
