Abstract:
The invention relates to a mechanism that uses the weight of a ballast (1) to rotate a drive axle (5) such that an arm (4) is associated with said drive axle (5), characterised in that in order to counter the acceleration of the ballast (1), the cable (3) associated therewith is applied to the lever arm via a surface that adopts a two-dimensional spiral configuration (7) by means of which the length of said lever arm is progressively reduced in order to stabilise the rotational speed of the output shaft. A first toothed wheel (8) is secured to the drive axle, said toothed wheel having a large diameter and transmitting the movement, by means of a chain (9), to a pinion (10) secured to a lower axle (11) which, in turn, is secured to a second toothed wheel (12) that, in combination with a second chain (13), transmits the movement thereof to a second pinion (14) secured to an intermediate output shaft (15), to which a flywheel (16) is connected.
