Title:
MECHANISM FOR AUTOMATICALLY STOPPING CIRCULAR LOOM DURING WEAVING OPERATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1980/000459
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A drive motor for driving a loom, annular guide means moving along an annular guide for guiding at least one shuttle, and a mechanism for automatically stopping a circular loom when a weft is broken or when the yarn of a yarn package formed on a bobbin supported at the shuttle is wasted in the loom. This mechanism incorporates a first detector (68) for detecting broken yarn and/or second detector (84) for detecting the fact that the yarn is consumed at the yarn package. There are also provided in the circular loom means for terminating electric power supplied from a power supply to the motor, the first detector (68) provided at the shuttle, and means for transmitting a signal from both or either one of the first and second detectors (68) and (84) to the power terminating means.
