Abstract:
Invention object is the mechanism for changing field marking with spinning cylinder's cone in a gaming machine, e.g. roulette, bingo/keno, dice etc, which affects the marking part of the spinning cylinder's cone of the gaming machine, produced in a way, that it is possible to move according to the position of the chambers or fields, delimited with plugs, where the ball stops. This way, the mechanism after the invention enables assignment of different values to the fields, marked with numbers or symbols, where the ball stops and decides about the winning hit. Cylinder's cone is built out of two, mutually controlled configurable parts (1 and 2), at which the part (2) has the numbers written and/or colour fields marked, part (1) has chambers delimited with plugs or wells to stop the ball. With part (1) delay towards the part (2), it is possible to assign different numbers/symbols or change the colour to individual chamber or well.

Claims:

PATENT CLAIMS

1. Mechanism for changing field marking with spinning cylinder's cone in a gaming machine is, characterized in that, the parted cylinder's cone is built out of two, mutually configurable parts (1, 2), where the part (2) has numbers written and/or colour fields marked, part (1) has chambers or wells to stop the ball delimited with plugs.

2. Mechanism for changing field marking with spinning cylinder's cone in a gaming machine is, as per requirement 1 , characterized in that, the performed automatic delay of the inner part (1) of the rotating plate on parted cylinder's cone of the gaming machine, towards the outer part (2) of the rotating plate, or that each time, the individual chamber has a different number and/or field colour assigned..

3. Mechanism for changing field marking with spinning cylinder's cone in a gaming machine is, as per requirement 2 characterized in that, the mutual delay of the parts (1 ,2) is performed with the help of special electromagnetic or differently submitted mechanism, constructed of

electromagnetic coil (3), that with the help of lever connection through the handle (4) gradually moves double escapement element (5) with arms (5a, 5b), while arms (5a) lying in the grip of lever connection (4), while the arms (5b) lie in the grip with lower part of plugs (6) - upper part is intended to stop the ball in a certain chamber or field and the each current position of the escapement element (5) is defined by the sheet spring (7) and complies with the mark - number and colour of the chamber or field between two neighbouring plugs (6).

MECHANISM FOR CHANGING FIELD MARKING WITH SPINNING CONE OF THE GAMING MACHINE CYLINDER

Invention object is the mechanism for changing the field marking with spinning cone of the gaming machine cylinder, e.g. roulette, bingo/keno, dice etc, with which we impact the marking part of the spinning cone of the gaming machine, which is produced in a way that it can be moved0 according to the chambers or fields, limited with plugs, where the ball stops, position. This way the mechanism after the invention enables setting different values to the fields, marked with numbers or symbols,

. where the ball stops and decides the winning combination. The invention belongs to the class A 63 F 5/00 of the international patent classification.s Technical problem, successfully solved by submitted invention, is a construction of such a mechanism for changing the field marking with spinning cone of the gaming machine cylinder, where the manual or automatically submitted simple change of individual chambers or fields will be enabled, without intervention into the machine or customizing theo machine each time. This way, each chamber or field, where the ball stops, can be marked with different numbers, symbols or colours for each game. For better understanding, the working procedure of the mechanism after invention shall be explained by a case study of the roulette, this

mechanism can be of course performed similarly on the gaming machines for other games.

Roulette is a gambling game, where a ball determines the winning combination when it falls into the chamber - well or a field on one of numbered red or black parts on rotating plate. Construction wise the spinning part of the roulette is formed of base stable part - cylinder, primarily of a rounded shape, with cylinder's cone, supported with ball bearings in the centre. The cylinder's cone has usually lifted part in the centre by the axe. This way, the ball that falls onto this rotating part gets additional acceleration and then jumps over the plugs that are delimiting the chambers or wells, where finally (in one of them), the ball stops once it looses the acceleration. The chamber mark (number, or black or red colour), where the ball stops represents the winning number or winning colour, if the player bet on the colour. Different factors, like direction and starting speed of the ball, speed of rotating cylinder's cone affect the field or the chamber where the ball stops in the current game. It is also possible to affect the ball with the help of special mechanisms.

This way, e.g. US patent N°6,047,965 foresees special gaps, through which the ball movement can be affected with the help of compressed air of different random chosen parameters (speed, force, direction).

This solution enables the impact on ball movement, while it is technically based on complicated additional construction of the roulette itself.

In another solution, US patent N 0 US 5,636,838, two moving plates are foreseen, each marked with all numbers, so that the player can bet onto one or the other plate, or different mutual plate combinations. This version does not enable sufficient solution to the set technical issue, as the game course is different, than the players are used to.

Generally, we haven't heard of technical construction solution that would simply and with practically unchanged roulette or cylinder and cylinder's cone outlook, enable larger un-repeatability of ball setting into the exact chamber. Statistically and based on the measurements, it is proven that after a certain period the hit frequency, that is the ball position in exact chamber, is large.

After the invention, the set technical issue is solved by the help of mechanism for changing the field marking with spinning cylinder's cone in the gaming machine, where the parted cylinder cone of the gaming machine, so the parted rotating plates with the help of special electromagnetic or differently submitted mechanism, formed by a lever connection that gradually moves the double escapement element with arms, where the arms of one kind lie in the grip of lever connection, arms of the other kind lie in the grip with lower part of the plugs, of which upper part is intended to stop the ball in certain chamber or field; we pull automatic move of inner part of the rotating plate towards the outer part of the rotating plat, or we set a different number and/or colour of the field to the individual chamber.

Invention will be explained in details based on a case study and pictures that show: figure 1 mechanism for changing the field marking with spinning cylinder's cone in a gaming machine after the invention with a plan view of a section of the wheel and from down upwards; figure 2 mechanism for changing field marking with spinning cylinder's cone in a gaming machine after the invention with a display of spinning roulette wheel in partial cross-section.

Submitted pictures show the invention object, where the cylinder's cone is built out of two, mutually controlled configurable parts 1 and 2, while the part 2 has numbers written and/or colour fields marked, part 1 has the chambers delimited with plugs or wells for stopping the ball. With current construction of the cylinder's cone, latter is built out of only one part in a way, that only one chamber or well has a defined exact number/symbol or colour. With the cylinder's cone after invention version, it is possible to define each chamber or well a different numbers/symbols or change the colour with the delay of part 1 towards the part 2.

Configurable movement of part 2 of the cylinder's cone towards the part 1 of the cylinder's cone enables the electromagnetically submitted mechanism, constructed out of electromagnetic coil 3, which, with the help of lever connection through handle 4 gradually moves double escapement element 5 with arms 5a and 5b, with arms 5a lying in the grip of lever connection 4, while the arms 5b lie in grip with lower part of plugs 6 - their

upper part is intended to stop the ball in a certain chamber or field. Each current position of escapement element 5 is defined with the help of sheet spring 7 and complies with the mark - number and colour of the chamber or field between two neighbouring plugs 6. With manual or automatic submission of electromagnetic coil 3, the escapement element 5 with the help of lever connection 4 and arm 5a that currently lies in the grip with lever connection 4, moves in a was that the arm 5b, currently in the grip with defined lower part of plug 6, moves parti of the roulette wheel for one grade ahead. This level can e.g. comply with one whole chamber or field. This way, all the chambers or fields after the movement got a different mark or number or the marks of the same lying fields of the set cylinder's cone have been changed.

With such a construction performance of the mechanism for field marking mechanism in spinning cylinder's cone in a gaming machine, the set technical issue is fully solved. The technical issue was a construction of such a cylinder's cone of the gaming machine, where the manual or automatically submitted changing of marking of individual chambers or fields, where the ball stops in a way, that one certain chamber or field on the plate can be marked with different numbers, symbols or colour of the field for each game.

With the submitted solution of the mechanism for changing the fields with spinning cylinder's cone in a gaming machine, where it is possible to manually or automatically submit simple changing of marking individual

chambers or fields, entirely solves the set technical problem of marking different chambers or fields, where the ball stops in each game in a way, that each chamber or field can be marked with different numbers, symbols or colours of the fields at each game without the need of intervention to the gaming machine itself.
