MECHANISM FOR SWINGABLY HOLDING ORNAMENTAL ARTICLE IN PERSONAL ACCESSORY

Disclosed is a mechanism for swingably holding an ornamental article in a personal accessory that renders the possibility of detachment of the ornamental article from the personal accessory unlikely, and that enables the ornamental article to swing in a range of directions. The mechanism includes a pair of mutually opposing ornamental article holders provided in a personal accessory main body, a first swinging base supported to be turnable about a turning center defined by a straight line connecting opposing faces of the holders, and a second swinging base supported to be turnable on the first swinging base about a turning center defined by a straight line of an orientation that intersects the straight line constituting the turning center of the first swinging base, and the ornamental article is held in the second swinging base. A pair of couplings that couple with the ornamental article holders are provided in the first swinging base, the area between the couplings is formed in a concave shape that extends below the straight line constituting the turning center of the first swinging base, and the second swinging base and ornamental article are arranged on this concave section.
