Title:
MECHANOLUMINESCENT MATERIAL AND MECHANOLUMINESCENT BODY USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/207960
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a mechanoluminescent body which has improved luminous intensity or improved sensitivity to stress in comparison to conventional SrAl2O4:Eu, or a mechanoluminescent body which has both improved luminous intensity and improved sensitivity to stress in comparison to conventional SrAl2O4:Eu. Disclosed is a mechanoluminescent material which comprises, as a host, a crystal known as α-SrAl2O4, and wherein Sr is substituted by Eu within the range of from 0.1% to 10% and O is substituted by at least one halogen element selected from among F, Cl, Br and I within the range of from 0.1% to 1.5%.
