Abstract:
Provided are a media conveyance device, a control method, and a control program, wherein when skewing of the media occurs, the media conveyance device is able to suitably correct the skewing of the media while stably conveying a large amount of media. This media conveyance device has: a placement base; a feeding roller for feeding the media placed on the placement base; a separation roller that is disposed opposite the feeding roller; a motor that generates a driving force; a plurality of conveying rollers that are disposed on the placement base upstream of the feeding roller and the separation roller in the media conveying direction and at intervals therebetween in a direction crossing the media conveying direction, the conveying rollers each rotating independently by means of the driving force and conveying the media; a determining unit that determines whether skewing of the media has occurred; and a control unit that controls the plurality of conveying rollers so as to correct the skewing of the media during feeding when it is determined that skewing of the media has occurred.
