Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a media-processing device with which it is possible to prevent deformation of taken-in media. [Solution] A media-processing device comprising: a plurality of drums on which a belt is suspended, the plurality of drums being provided so as to be capable of rotating; a tape of which one end is fixed to the belt, the tape being wound around the outer circumference of the belt while media are taken in in association with rotation of the plurality of drums; and a reel to which the other end of the tape is fixed, the reel being provided so as to be capable of winding in the tape that is wound on the belt, the length of a linear section of the belt between the plurality of drums being equal to or greater than the length of the media in the direction of intake onto the outer circumference of the belt.
