Abstract:
The invention relates to a medical clothing item, in particular a surgical gown or examination gown, comprising a body-covering section (12) and sleeves (32) attached thereto, wherein the body-covering section (12) has an opening (28) for putting on the medical clothing item (10) and at least one closure (50) for closing the opening (28), wherein the closure (50) has a first closure element (51) on a first side edge (26) of the body-covering section (12) which bounds the opening (28) and a second closure element (52), which is arranged on a second side edge (24) of the body-covering section (12) which bounds the opening (28) and/or in a region (25) adjoining a second side edge (24) of the body-covering section which bounds the opening, wherein the first closure element (51) has a fastening section (53) for permanent fixation to the body-covering section (12), a release section (57) that is connected non-detachably thereto, and a coupling section (55) which is connected to the fastening section (53) and can be covered by the release section (57) when not cooperating with the second closure element (52), wherein the coupling section (55) bears first mechanical coupling means (63) and the second closure element (52) is used to attach the first mechanical coupling means (63) of the first closure element (51), wherein the second closure element (52) has second mechanical coupling means and the second mechanical coupling means are formed by a surface (15) of the medical clothing item (10).
