Abstract:
A medical connection structure comprising a male assembly (1) and a cylindrical female connector (2). The male assembly (1) has a cylindrical male connector (10) and a screwing cylinder (20) that is rotatably coupled to the male connector (10). Once a female screw (21a) of the screwing cylinder (20) and engagement projections (2c) of the female connector (2) have been screwed together, a male luer part (11) of the male connector (10) and a female luer part (2a) of the female connector (2) are joined as a result of the screwing cylinder (20) being rotated in the fastening direction. The medical connection structure also comprises a loosening-prevention mechanism (30) that does not allow turning of the screwing cylinder (20) in the loosening direction relative to the male connector (10) once the male luer part (11) and the female luer part (2a) are joined. The loosening-prevention mechanism (30) has ratchet teeth (31) that are formed on the inner periphery of the screwing cylinder (20), an elastic piece (32) that is formed on the male connector (10), and an engagement protuberance (33) that projects from the free end of the elastic piece (32) and meshes together with the ratchet teeth.
