Abstract:
The medical device (1) is provided with an image capture means (50) that is introduced into the interior (101) of a body and captures images of the body interior (101); a cable (43) that extends from the image capture means (50), exchanges signals or electric power with an external machine (5) and is withdrawn from the body interior (101) to the outside of the body through a body wall (102); an electric terminal (61), which is disposed on the end of the cable (43), has an electric contact (63) and is electrically connected to the external machine (5); a cover (60) that covers at least the electric contact (63), adheres with a prescribed strength to the electric terminal (61) so as to be watertight and is grasped when withdrawing the cable (43) from the body interior (101) to the outside of the body; and an easy-release part (66) for removing the cover (60) from the electric terminal (61).
