Abstract:
Provided is a medical device which is easy to manufacture, with which the number of components can be reduced, and with which consistent quality can be achieved. A medical device is provided with: a flexible member (6) which is capable of being inserted into lumina and bent, and which is provided with a tip cylindrical body (65) formed by winding a wire into a cylindrical shape, and first linear parts (67) in which the wire configuring the tip cylindrical body (65) is formed extending linearly from the tip cylindrical body (65); and an operating wire (14) which passes through the inside of the tip cylindrical body (65) so as to be capable of advancing and retracting, and which advances and retracts relative to the tip cylindrical body (65) to exert force on the flexible member (6) and bend the first linear parts (67).
