Abstract:
A medical device according to the present invention is for cutting an object in a lumen of a living organism, and is provided with: a rotating structure provided with a cutting part; a first shaft which is coupled to the rotating structure along the central axis, and which drives rotation of the rotating structure; and a tubular second shaft which surrounds the first shaft. The second shaft is capable of bending in two places, namely a first bending portion, and a second bending portion located further towards the distal side than the first bending portion. The second shaft is capable of rotating while the proximal side of the first bending portion and the distal side of the second bending portion of the second shaft are maintained in a substantially parallel state.
