Abstract:
Provided is a medical device which exhibits high flexibility while having a scoring element and which can prevent detachment of the scoring element and inhibit increase in the size of an outer diameter of the device. This medical device 1 has: a long shaft 10; a balloon 11 provided to a leading end portion of the shaft 10; a scoring element 13 provided to the surrounding of the balloon 11; a leading end tip 25 provided to the leading end side of the balloon 11; and imaging markers 24 provided to the inside of the balloon 11. The scoring element 13 has, at the leading end portion, a leading end slide part 30 that can move between the leading end tip 25 and each of the imaging markers 24.
