Abstract:
Provided are: a medical diagnosis assistance device with which it is easy to find the timing at which medical images are captured (examination timing); and a method for operating a medical diagnosis assistance device. A medical diagnosis assistance server acquires, from a medical image database, a plurality of medical images obtained by a plurality of rounds of examinations performed at different timings, and generates a display screen (15) on which the medical images are arranged in a medical image display area (50) which has an examination axis along which medical images captured at the same examination timing are arranged, and a site axis which intersects the examination axis and along which medical images of the same imaging site are arranged, the site axis being provided for each lesion site detected by the examinations. The display screen (15) has examination timing display areas (52, 54) which indicate the examination timings of the medical images arranged in the medical image display area (50).
