Abstract:
Disclosed is a medical hydrogel formed by in-situ crosslinking of formyl-terminated star-shaped multi-arm polyethylene glycol and a poly-amino compound. The formyl groups are linked to star-shaped multi-arm polyethylene glycol by means of a chemical bond such as an ether bond, an amide bond, an ester bond, an ammonia ester bond, an imine bond or a urea bond. The molar ratio of amino groups in the poly-amino compound to the formyl groups in formyl-terminated star-shaped multi-arm polyethylene glycol is (0.4-4.4):1. The poly-amino compound is polylysine or a mixture of polylysine and polyethyleneimine, and the molar ratio of polylysine to polyethyleneimine is (2-30):3. The hydrogel is high in gel formation speed, has long-term stability in an aqueous solution, still maintains good swelling performance and high stability after being subjected to irradiation several time, and can be used as a medical radiotherapy protection pad for radiation protection.
