Abstract:
The medical image examination apparatus of an embodiment is provided with: a data-receiving unit that receives data for multiple medical images; a display unit for displaying the medical images on the basis of the data for the multiple medical images received by the data-receiving unit; and a control unit that executes control to display the medical images on the display screen of the display unit. The control unit performs control so as to: arrange the medical images, which have been classified into multiple groups according to at least one of the type of medical image-generating apparatus that generated the medical image data, the imaging conditions, image-generation method, imaging position, operator instruction, operator setting, or the time of the imaging, by group; display the respective multiple medical images that correspond to two or more of the multiple groups on the display screen; and scroll the multiple medical images arranged on the display screen in groups according to a scrolling instruction from the operator.
