Abstract:
In a medical image managing system, it is possible to multiplex-store a medical
image only into necessary image storing means at a necessary timing and check
the multiplex-storage state of the medical image from an observation terminal.
In the medical image managing system (100), a write server (2) registers in a database
(4), setting information including storage destination information on a storage
destination of the image data, multiplex-storage destination information
on a multiplex-storage destination, and multiplex-storage timing information
to each multiplex storage destination which are attached to the image data from
a modality (1), and writes the image data into at least one NAS (5) according to
the setting information. A multiplexing server (3) inquires the database (4)
at a predetermined time interval, writes the image data whose multiplex-storage
timing has come, into NAS (5) of a specified multiplex-storage destination,
and registers the multiplex-storage result information into the database (4).
