Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to accurately acquire, with a medical image processing device, method, and program, the amount of change between two brain images of the same patient captured at different dates of photography. A division unit 22 aligns the position of a first brain image including the brain of a subject with the position of a standard brain image divided into a plurality of regions, to thereby divide the brain included in the first brain image into a plurality of regions. A position aligning unit 23 aligns the position of a second brain image, which has a date of photography different from that of the first brain image and includes the subject's brain, with the position of the first brain image. A change amount acquisition unit 24, on the basis of the result of position alignment, and with respect to at least one of the plurality of regions of the brain included in the second brain image, acquires an amount of change from a corresponding region of the brain included in the first brain image.
