Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a medial image processing device and a method for operating the same, the medical image processing device being capable of reducing work to be performed on a selection result by a doctor when a key image to be put on a report is automatically selected. Provided is a medical image processing device (10) comprising: an image acquisition unit (20) that acquires a plurality of medical images (12); an image classification unit (30) that classifies the medical images (12) into a plurality of categories; an image display unit (50) that displays, as an automatically selected image (54), at least one of the medical images (12) on a screen on the basis of a classification result; an input acceptance unit (70) that accepts an input for a user to select, as a selection image (55), an image needing to be reselected as a key image (13), from among the displayed automatically selected images (54); and a display control unit (51) that, instead of displaying the selection image (55), switchably displays, as switching images (56), non-automatically selected images (57) other than the automatically selected images (54) among the plurality of medical images (12) classified into categories.
