Abstract:

A medical instrument storage device has a power supply section (4) connected to an electric power source, a body section (3) having a power receiving section (14) capable of receiving electric power from the power supply section without contact and also having a holding section (2) for holding a medical instrument, hygiene maintaining sections (13, 35) for maintaining hygiene of the medical instrument, which is held by the holding section, by being driven by the electric power supplied from the power supply section via the power receiving section, a movement section (12) for making the body section freely movable, a power storage section (91) placed at a holding container and storing the electric power supplied from the power supply section, and a light emission section (35) connected to the power storage section, placed at the holding container, and applying light of a predetermined wavelength to the medical instrument.
