Abstract:
A surgical instrument (20) is equipped with: an operating part (24) which extends from the operating part (24) and is operated by an operator; an insertion part (22) through which is inserted inside the body of a subject; and an operating wire (25) through which the insertion part (22) is inserted, and transmits the operations of the operating part (24) to a surgical part (21) at the tip of the insertion part (22). The operating wire (25) comprises: a first wire (26) having an end that is connected to the surgical part (21), and to which an AC magnetic field or an AC electric field is applied; and a second wire (28) having an end that is connected to the operating part (24) and having another end that is connected to the first wire (26), said second wire being insulated from the first wire (26).
