Abstract:
Provided is a medical liquid detection sheet having a novel structure with which it is possible to minimize false detection of a patient's perspiration, etc., that does not need to be detected, and accurately detect a liquid to be detected. A medical liquid detection sheet 10 in which first detection wiring 22 and second detection wiring 24 are provided, set away from each other, on an electrically insulating base member 16 and that detects leakage of a liquid 6 subject to detection, such as blood, on the basis of a change in the state of electrical connection between the first detection wiring 22 and the second detection wiring 24 due to adhesion of the liquid 6 subject to detection, a main detection region 37 in which the first detection wiring 22 and the second detection wiring 24 extend substantially parallel to each other being provided on the base member 16, and the distance by which the first detection wiring 22 and the second detection wiring 24 face each other in the main detection region 37 being set to the range of 40-100 mm.
