Abstract:
To provide a master-slave system for which system operability when used with a slave device being folded over is improved, this medical master-slave system control method for controlling a medical master-slave system comprising a bendable master device which is operated by an operator and a bendable slave device which is inserted into a body comprises: a regular operating mode (step S101) which operates a slave device on the basis of a bend state of a master device such that the slave device operates in parallel with a manipulation of the master device; a reverse operation mode (step S105) which operates the slave device on the basis of the bend state of the master device such that the slave device operates in reverse with respect to the manipulation of the master device; and transition modes (steps S103, 104, 107, 108) for transitioning between the regular operation mode and the reverse operation mode.
