Abstract:

Provided is a medical needle with a protector, the medical needle configured so that the needle body and the protector, which are individually formed, can be easily mounted together. A medical needle (1) with a protector is provided with: a hub (3) for supporting a needle pipe (2); the protector (4) capable of accommodating the needle pipe (2); first engagement means (42a, 42b, 73) for engaging the hub (3) with the protector (4) so that the hub (3) can be disengaged; and second engagement means (43, 44, 74, 75) for engaging the hub (3) with the protector (4) so that the hub (3) cannot be disengaged. The front end of the hub (3) is provided with: a pair of first protrusions (74) arranged in the top-bottom direction; and second protrusions (75) arranged in the left-right direction. The rear end of the protector (4) is provided with: a pair of protrusions (43) arranged in the left-right direction; and a pair of side wall sections (44) arranged in the top-bottom direction. The distance between the side walls (44) is greater than or equal to the width of the protrusions (74, 75) and less than or equal to the height thereof.
