Abstract:
This medical observation device is provided with: an image-capturing unit which captures an image of a subject at a first angle of view; and an image generation unit that generates a display image signal by cutting the image, which has been captured by the image-capturing unit, with a second angle of view smaller than the first angle of view, and by processing the image. According to this medical observation device, even when changing a field of view, hand-eye-coordination and resolution can be maintained.
