Abstract:
A medical port of the present invention (13) is fixed to a container main body of a nutrient container and enables the inside and the outside of the container main body to communicate. The medical port (13) comprises the following: a port main body (22) having a through hole (21d), a lateral wall (18) fixed to the container main body, and a connection part (21) capable of maintaining a state of connection with a connector; a thin film (16) which is attached to the port main body, which is disposed, in a state in which the medical port is fixed to the container main body, on the line of extension from the through hole inside the container main body port, and which prevents the liquid material inside the container main body from flowing out of the nutrient container; a bridge (19a) which is connected to the port main body and which can be ruptured or deformed; and a communication member (19) a portion of which is inserted into the through hole (21d) and is connected to the port main body via the bridge. The communication member comprises the following: a part which can pierce the thin film as a result of the communication member being pushed towards the container main body side and thereby rupturing or deforming the bridge; and a flow path which, in a state in which the thin film has been pierced, enables the liquid material inside the container main body to flow out from the nutrient container.
