Abstract:
This medical puncture needle (1) comprises: a main body part (2), wherein the cross section thereof orthogonal to the center axis direction (A) has a substantially circular outer shape; and a tip end part (3) that is contiguous to one end of the main body part (2), wherein the cross section of the tip end part orthogonal to the center axis direction (A) has a flat outer shape. The tip end part (3) includes a first blade surface part (5) and a second blade surface part (6) that form a blade edge (9) by a ridgeline where the blade surface parts intersect with one another, the blade edge having a needle tip (8) at one end. When viewed along the center axis direction (A), the needle tip (8) is located more inward than the outer circumference of the main body part (2).
