Abstract:
The present invention relates to a medical service system using an RFID for providing a prompt and efficient medical service by implementing examination reception process automatically through a reader placed at the entrance of a hospital and at each of the departments for detecting the entry of a patient card, and by enabling the issuing of a receipt and a prescription without visiting the reception counter after the examination is complete. To this end, the medical service system using an RFID of the present invention comprises: a patient card having embedded thereon an RFID tag with patient information; an entrance reader placed at the entryway of the hospital for reading the RFID tag information when the patient card enters through the entryway; a management server for detecting patient information from the RFID tag information received from the entrance reader, inquiring the previous examination history from the detected patient information, and transmitting an examination reception request signal including the patient information and examination field information; a department reader placed in each of the departments for implementing an examination reception process for a patient when receiving from the management server the examination reception request signal, detecting the patient information from the RFID tag when the entry of the patient card is sensed within the range of recognition, and implementing the examination reception process thereby while transmitting to the management server the examination reception process signal including the patient information; an electronic display placed in each of the departments for displaying patient name and examination order according to the examination reception process signal generated from the department reader; and an examination room reader placed in each of the examination rooms for recording on the RFID tag of the patient card examination history and the prescription data inputted by an examiner, wherein the management server transmits to a specific department reader an examination reception cancellation request signal if receiving from another department reader an examination reception processing signal for a patient after having transmitted to the specific department reader an examination reception request signal for the corresponding patient on the basis of the patient information received from the entrance reader.
