Abstract:

The present invention relates to a medical suture having micro cogs on a surface thereof, and a method for manufacturing same. The method for manufacturing the medical suture with the micro cogs on the surface thereof includes: a step of performing a heat-press solid-phase forming process on a raw material of a medical suture in an overflow mold to manufacture a suture forming body having micro cog on a surface of the suture; and a step of applying a tensile force and a rotational force to the suture forming body in a vacuum state, in which specific temperature conditions are maintained, to manufacture the twisted suture.
