Abstract:
[Problem] To improve the operability of a medical instrument by performing automatic angle adjustment of an end effector. [Solution] A medical system according to the present invention is provided with: a medical instrument that is provided with a drive unit that drives the adjustment of the angle of an end effector with respect to a shaft; a trocar comprising an insertion hole into which the medical instrument is inserted; a sensor that outputs a sensor signal containing at least the angle of the shaft in a reference coordinate system; and a controller that makes it possible to execute conformity adjustment processing that drives the drive unit on the basis of the sensor signal that is output by the sensor so that the angle of the end effector conforms with a conformity reference in the reference coordinate system.
